“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
[Mark 11:24 NIV]
Devotional
Faith is more than wishful thinking; it is confident trust in the goodness and power of God. When Jesus spoke these words, He was teaching His disciples about the connection between prayer and belief. He wanted them to understand that prayer is not just speaking to God, but aligning our hearts with His promises and expecting Him to act.
Believing that we have received what we ask for is not about forcing outcomes or getting everything we want. It is about trusting that God hears us and is already working on our behalf, even when we cannot see the results yet. Our faith invites God’s will to unfold in His perfect timing.
Sometimes the answer looks different than we expect, but God’s response is always rooted in His love and wisdom. As we keep praying and believing, our hearts grow stronger, our trust deepens, and we learn to rest in His faithful care.
Reflection
I can pray boldly today, knowing God hears me. I choose to believe His promises are true and that He is already at work bringing His best into my life.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for hearing my prayers and for the assurance that You are moving on my behalf. Help me to pray with faith, trust Your timing, and rest in Your goodness.
