Daniel spoke these words after God revealed King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream to him. Surrounded by a powerful empire and impossible demands, Daniel knew that human authority was limited. Kingdoms rise and fall, leaders come and go, and seasons shift in ways we cannot control. Yet over all of it stands the God who rules with perfect wisdom. He changes times and seasons according to His purpose, and nothing unfolds outside His sovereign care.

This promise reminds us that God is not only present in our personal lives but also actively at work in the world around us. When the future feels uncertain or the world seems unstable, Daniel 2:21 brings reassurance. God remains in control. He oversees every season of your life and every transition you face. He opens doors, closes others, and guides the path ahead with steady hands.

God also gives wisdom to those who seek Him. Daniel did not rely on his own understanding. He turned to God, and God revealed what Daniel needed in the moment. The same is true for you. When you feel unsure, overwhelmed, or in need of direction, God offers wisdom, discernment, and clarity. You do not have to navigate life alone or rely on your own strength.

God is in control of every season of my life. I can trust His wisdom and seek His guidance as He leads me forward.

Lord, thank You for overseeing every time and season. Give me wisdom and discernment today. Help me trust Your control and walk with confidence in Your guidance.
