Secure in His Amazing Love

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

[Romans 8:31–32 NIV]

Devotional

Paul wrote these words to strengthen believers who were facing hardship, uncertainty, and spiritual opposition. He wanted them to understand something vital. God is not simply near them. He is for them. The God who created the universe stands on their side with unstoppable love and unwavering commitment. That truth changes everything.

Paul then gives the greatest proof of God’s love. He did not spare His own Son. He gave Jesus freely for our salvation. If God has already given the most precious gift imaginable, He will surely give everything else we need for the journey. His generosity is not reluctant. It is overflowing. His heart toward you is not distant. It is joyful and full of grace.

There are moments when life feels overwhelming and questions rise. You may wonder if you have enough strength, enough hope, or enough clarity. Romans 8 reminds you that God has already given you the greatest assurance possible. If He is for you, nothing can stand against His purpose for your life. His love is stronger than fear, stronger than failure, and stronger than any force that tries to oppose you.

Let this promise steady your heart today. God is for you. He has proven His love in Christ, and He will give you everything you need to walk in His plan.
