Devotional

Paul wrote these words to believers who were struggling with pressures, temptations, and cultural influences that pulled their hearts in many directions. He wanted them to know that temptation is not unusual or unique. Every believer faces it. Yet in the middle of that struggle stands a powerful truth. God is faithful. He knows your limits, sees your battles, and promises not to let temptation overwhelm you.

This promise does not mean we will never feel stretched. It means we will never be abandoned. God watches over every test and every challenge, and He provides strength to endure. He also provides a way out. Sometimes that way out is a change of direction. Sometimes it is wisdom to say no. Sometimes it is the strength to stand firm even when the situation does not change immediately. In every case, God equips you to walk through temptation without being defeated by it.

Temptation can make us feel isolated or ashamed, but Paul reminds us that we are not alone. God is actively involved in our struggle. His faithfulness surrounds us. His Spirit strengthens us.
