The Heart of My Faith
This page shares the heart of what I believe about God, faith, and life. My prayer is that these answers will give you hope, spark curiosity, and help you discover the God who loves you.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
(Psalm 119:105)
About God and Faith
Who is God to me?
God is my Father, my Creator, and the One who knows me better than I know myself. He is my safe place, my guide, and the source of every good thing in my life.
Who is Jesus Christ and why does He matter?
Jesus is my Savior and my closest friend. He gave His life so I could be forgiven, and He walks with me every day, giving me strength and hope.
What does the Holy Spirit do in my life?
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence in me. He gives me peace when I am anxious, wisdom when I am unsure, and courage when I feel weak.
Can I really trust the Bible?
Yes, I can. The Bible has been my anchor through hard times and a light for my path when I did not know which way to go. I have seen its promises come true in my own life.
About Me and My Need
Why do I need salvation?
I need salvation because on my own I fall short and cannot live the life God designed for me. I need His forgiveness and love to make me whole and give me purpose.
How can I be saved?
I was saved by trusting in Jesus with my whole heart. It wasn’t about what I could do for Him, but simply receiving the gift of His love and forgiveness.
What does it mean to know God personally?
For me, knowing God is like having a relationship with someone who never leaves my side. I talk with Him in prayer, I listen to Him through His Word, and I see His hand guiding me every day.
Can I ever lose my salvation?
No, I cannot. Once I gave my life to Jesus, He promised to hold me forever. I rest in that promise, knowing nothing can take me out of His hands.
About Life and Eternity
What happens when I die?
I believe that when my time on earth ends, I will be with God. Death is not the end for me, it is the beginning of eternal life with Him.
Is heaven real, and how can I be sure I’ll go there?
Heaven is real to me because Jesus promised it. I know I will be there, not because of what I have done, but because I have trusted Him with my life.
What gives me hope for tomorrow?
My hope for tomorrow comes from knowing God is already there. No matter what happens, He will walk with me and carry me when I cannot go on my own.
About Living Out Faith
How can faith make a difference in my everyday life?
My faith shapes how I see the world. It gives me peace when things fall apart, joy in simple blessings, and strength to keep going when life is hard.
Why should I pray, and does God really listen?
I pray because I need God in every part of my life. He listens to me when I whisper in fear, when I cry out in pain, and when I simply thank Him for His goodness.
Why do I need a church family?
I need a church family because I can’t do this life of faith alone. They encourage me, pray for me, and remind me that I belong to something bigger than myself.
Where can I go if I want to learn more?
You can start right where I started, by opening the Bible and talking honestly with God. You will also find love and guidance in a local church family where you can grow in faith and discover God’s plan for your life.
What kind of church should I attend?
I believe it is important to be part of a church that teaches and lives by the Bible as God’s truth. Look for a church family that loves Jesus, teaches His Word faithfully, and encourages you to grow closer to Him in both faith and daily life.
